We offer Puppy Training Sessions and Kennel Club Good Citizen Classes, from Bronze right the way through to Gold.
Puppy Training helps to lay the foundations for early learning and assists new puppy guardians in understanding basic training techniques.
Puppy Training 1-2-1 sessions allow for you and your puppy to have the undivided attention of the trainer and work on basic behaviours as well as any specific challenges you and your puppy are facing.
The bronze course aims to focus on basic obedience, working on having a dog that will walk and behave in a controlled manner.
Classes take place indoors and work on ensuring that you and your dog have the basics to practice good behaviours and good manners in the wider world.
The Bronze course takes place over 8 weeks of training, with an optional assessment in week 9.
The silver course builds on the skills learned in the bronze course and increases the level of difficulty. It is the natural progression of practical dog training skills and introduces new concepts, including a controlled greeting, proper control in a vehicle and a road walking exercise.
The silver course pushes your dogs learning further and promotes the relationship between handler and dog.
The Silver course takes place over 8 weeks of training, with an optional assessment in week 9.
The gold award is the highest level of achievement in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme. It builds upon the skills learnt in silver and works on developing more advanced behaviours for both the handler and the dog.
Gold introduces more off-lead behaviours and works on keeping your dog focussed and under control even when off-lead around other dogs.
The Gold course takes place over 8 weeks of training, with an optional assessment in week 9.
1-2-1 training sessions give us the opportunity to help with specific issues that you are struggling with and work on a focussed plan to move forward.
These sessions are an hour in length and can focus on whatever it is that you want to work on.
1-2-1 sessions are flexible based on what your goals are for training with your dog and can be arranged a place and time to suit you.
We are very pleased to be able to work closely with Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home and offer Post Adoption Sessions for dogs that have been adopted from them.
These sessions are approximately an hour in length and can focus on whatever it is that you and your new companion are struggling with.
These sessions take place at Cheshire Dogs Home (225 Knutsford Road, Grappenhall, Warrington, Cheshire, WA4 3JZ)
